Model 1901 Carbine Stock ~ Made from M1898 Rifle Stock

$475.00

This is a nice beginning to what could be a great Krag Carbine project. It was a M1898 Rifle stock cut down to over all length 31-3/8”. The nose and butt swivel haven’t been filled it yet and is up to you to complete. It does not have a saddle bar cut out so you could use this for a M1901 Carbine or if you choose you could always cut the saddle bar in yourself to make it a M1896.

There is no cartouche. Please study the photos, you get the exact stock you see. I couldn’t see any major cracks or repairs, just a minor repair near the tang of the buttplate that was done a long time ago and a small crack near the nose that could be filled in and the usual dings, dents and scratches. It’s not ugly. Will make a very nice carbine.

The original stocks for these are getting harder and harder to find in the wild. Get it while you can.
